Just a week after Google released Android P  for the Pixel and Pixel 2 lineups, an AOSP-based build of Android 9 Pie has been announced for the Xiaomi smartphones, including the Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4, Mi 3 and Mi 4.

The developer Abishek mentioned in his post that as of now for the Redmi Note 4 ROM, there are no major known bugs in his software at the moment, and all the features are also working as expected.
